The Business Professionals of America (BPA) organization at the Washington County Career Center elected its chapter officers recently.
The chapter includes students from the Digital Marketing and Graphic Design & Video Production programs.
Officers for the 2022-23 school year are:
Co-President, Maeghan O’Neill, is a senior from Marietta enrolled in the Graphic Design and Video Production program. She is the daughter of Erin O’Neill of Marietta.
Co-President, Kenzie Smith, is a senior from Marietta enrolled in the Digital Marketing program. She is the daughter of Brad and Lee Andra Smith of Marietta.
Vice President, Lyanna Smith, is a senior from Marietta enrolled in the Graphic Design and Video Production program. She is the daughter of Brad and Lee Andra Smith of Marietta.
Treasurer, Samuel Casto, is a senior from Fort Frye enrolled in the Graphic Design and Video Production program. He is the son of Michael and Kelly Casto of Lower Salem.
Secretary, Taylor Bowers, is a senior from Warren enrolled in the Graphic Design and Video Production program. He is the son of Ben Bowers of Burlington, North Carolina, and Mindy Bowers of Vincent.
Historian, Kelly Prim, is a senior from Warren enrolled in the Graphic Design and Video Production program. She is the daughter of Gary Prim of Parkersburg and Heather McIntire of Marietta, and the granddaughter of Erwin and Debra Prim of Marietta.
Parliamentarian, Emma Hendrickson, is a senior from Warren enrolled in the Graphic Design and Video Production program. She is the daughter of Mitchell and Tracy Hendrickson of Marietta.
The Information Technology programs are a combination of high-level academic courses and state-of-the-art technology courses.
The programs of instruction provide opportunities for students to prepare for and achieve career objectives in business and computer occupations. Business Professionals of America is a student organization for high school and college students that help prepare for a world-class workforce.
Through co-curricular programs and services, members compete in technical competitions, develop leadership skills, network with one another and professionals across the nation and get involved in community service.
